You will help us work to solve our nation’s healthcare challenges and decrease costs so that everyone can afford the care they need.\nSchedule: Monnday 1:30 pm to Completion / Tuesday - Friday 2:30 pm to Completion\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nAssist Operations Manager with planning, organizing and directing warehouse activities to ensure successful night shift operations.\nAssist with leading workers and Lead persons. Assist with maintaining a positive morale, work standards and developing teams.\nAssist with training and managing employee performance\nAssertively seek solutions to problems at the root level.\nEnsure warehouse operations comply with federal, state, and local company policies\nAssist with controlling expenses\nAssist with reducing employee turnover/assist with reducing overtime working hours\nEnsure warehouse equipment and vehicles are well maintained and that housekeeping meets company standards.\nMinimum Requirements\n1+ years of operations experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities\nCritical Requirements\n5 + years operational knowledge and experience\n2 + years experience managing, leading and developing staff embodying a hands-on managerial approach with a predominant focus on direct engagement and active presence on the operational floor\n1 + years computer proficiency with MS Office\n2+ years experience collaborating and communicating with teams across various functions in a matrixed environment\n2 + years experience proficiently multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with the ability to make strong business decisions\nAdditional Knowledge & Skills\n1+ years industry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment preferred\nSkilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline and record keeping\nExperience with DEA regulations a plus\n1+ year WMS experience preferred\nMS Access proficiency and ability to interpret and analyze data\nEducation\n4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience\nPhysical Requirements\nMultiple environments including office and warehouse\nHigh energy distribution center environment\nAbility to work in a refrigerated or freezer storage environment during shift hours.\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
