We are seeking a Technical AI Enablement Senior Engineer who will bridge ideas to technology, partnering with infrastructure, cloud, and data teams to ensure architectural soundness and scalability. This role focuses on designing, building, and operationalizing AI solutions that deliver measurable business value This role reports directly to the VP, McKesson Technology - AI & Automation.\nKey Accountabilities \nTechnical Enablement\nPartner with infrastructure, cloud, and data teams to design and deliver scalable AI solutions.\n\nEnsure architectural soundness, security, and compliance in all AI deployments.\n\nTranslate business ideas and requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.\n\nImplement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.\n\nSolution Integration\nExecute and support the transition of AI pilots and prototypes into fully operational, integrated solutions.\n\nIdentify and address technical challenges to ensure successful implementation and adoption.\n\nEstablish best practices for AI solution deployment and lifecycle management.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nAct as a technical bridge between business, data, and technology teams.\n\nFacilitate knowledge sharing and technical enablement across the organization.\n\nSupport the development of a robust AI capability within McKesson Technology.\n\nCritical Skills:\nExpertise in AI and automation technologies, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions.\n\nStrong architectural skills, with a proven ability to ensure scalability, reliability, and security in AI systems.\n\nAbility to translate business requirements and ideas into robust technical solutions.\n\nExperience collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, and data teams to deliver integrated outcomes.\n\nExcellent cross-functional communication skills, able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nProven experience in developing and deploying AI solutions in production environments.”\n\nExperience implementing MLOps pipelines and containerized deployments.\n\nTechnology stack & tools:\n\nAI Frameworks/tools: Experience with tools such as LangChain and OpenAI.\n\nAutomation Platforms: Experience with automation technologies (e.g., UiPath).\n\nProgramming Languages: Knowledge of Python and SQL; ability to work with APIs.\n\nCloud Services: Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.\n\nModern Practices: Familiarity with MLOps, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.\n\n5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years in AI/automation solution deployment or technical enablement roles.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and modern data architectures.\n\nHands-on experience with CI/CD, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and scalable architectures.\n\nCertifications in AI, cloud architecture, or automation technologies.\n\nExperience working in large, complex, multinational organizations.\n\nBehavioral Competencies:\nLeadership: Demonstrates technical leadership and the ability to influence outcomes.\n\nAccountability: Takes ownership for delivering robust, scalable solutions.\n\nAdaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving technology landscape.\n\nCollaboration: works effectively with cross-functional teams.\n\nCommunication: Explains complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.\n\nProblem Solving: Applies advanced engineering skills to overcome technical challenges.\n\nWhy This Role is Critical\nThis position is essential for turning AI pilots into operationalized, integrated solutions at scale.
