If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nThe Role\nThe Analyst, Treasury Operations is a key member in McKesson’s Medical Surgical (MMS) business unit’s treasury function with responsibility for managing and optimizing MMS’ global liquidity. Other responsibility includes partnering with business units to develop payment solutions to enhance efficiencies and to manage and enhance our treasury systems and tools.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor and manage MMS’ daily cash position, make recommendations on Investments and quarter-back this process to reduce cost of cash\nProvide operational and analytical support for short-term and long-term borrowing arrangements, hedging activities and share repurchases\nAssist the capital markets team in executing transactions in the financial markets, as needed\nWork with other Treasury team members to prepare insightful departmental reports\nPartner with internal business groups to understand sources and uses of cash and maintain a robust cash forecast\nPrepare executive-level treasury reporting, including liquidity metrics, cash forecasts, investment performance, and CFO dashboards to support strategic planning and capital allocation decisions\nEvaluate short-term investment opportunities, bank deposits, and cash management strategies while balancing liquidity, yield, risk exposure, and banking costs\nMonitor regulatory, tax, and market developments impacting investments, treasury operations, and cash management activities\nAssist in the coordination of derivatives settlement confirmation\nAssist with and coordinate spot & forward FX trades\nPartner with the Capital Markets group and assist in settlement of cross-currency swaps to support intercompany funding structures and risk management strategies\nSupport the company’s hedging strategies by helping execute, value, and manage derivative trades to hedge FX, interest, and other operational risks\nAdminister online banking platforms, user entitlements, security controls, and bank portal access\nMaintain bank account documentation, signer authority records, and eBAM workflows to ensure compliance with corporate governance and banking requirements\nCollaborate with banking partners to maintain and develop cash management structure and resolve day-to-day operational issues\nProactively collaborate with business units and corporate departments to aid in the construction and execution of the cash forecast, intercompany financing structures, and help identify and implement new services as the business grows and banking industry evolves\nFind ways to continuously improve processes, procedures and controls surrounding cash movement, bank balance/fee monitoring and other Treasury-related activities including SOX documentation\nManage multiple relationships with vendors, including banks, credit rating agencies, investment managers and retirement plan administrators\nMaintain and improve the Treasury’s technology platform and tools (Kyriba) to support efficient and effective operations of the team\nParticipate in treasury system enhancements, process automation initiatives to improve treasury operations and reporting capabilities\nQualifications\nMinimum Requirements\n3+ years Finance or Treasury related experience\nBS degree in Finance or related field\nCritical Skills\nExperience in Treasury operations preferred with demonstrated knowledge in cash management, commercial paper issuance, bank infrastructure and investments\nDemonstrated skills in navigating large, complex organizations and collaborating with multiple businesses and functional areas\nDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritize various responsibilities with competing, short deadlines and under pressure with a “can-do” attitude\nDemonstrated the ability to ramp-up quickly on challenging topics\nExperience using Kyriba or other treasury management systems preferred\nStrong Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets and analytical skills\nAdditional Skills\nA business partner mindset and understand the internal and external issues facing the business and industry and use that understanding to forge partnerships and build relationships\nDemonstrated ability to understand complex business problems, conduct analysis, and identify well-reasoned solutions\nHighly organized and detail oriented due to the criticality of the function\nA results orientation mind-set with a personal commitment and drive to set and meet or exceed the operational and financial goals for this position\nStrong communication skills to interact up and across the organization\nAbout McKesson Medical-Surgical\nMcKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early 2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation.
