If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.\nThe USON Practice Management Source to Pay Controller is responsible for overseeing the accounting control environment for the US Oncology Network (USON) related to the wing-to-wing source to pay (S2P) process. The selected candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies, policies, and controls to manage financial statement risks-including end-to-end process (upstream & downstream) and data risks-to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess Optimization & Transformation\nLead network-wide process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, standardization, and automation in Sourcing, Accounts Payable, Cash Disbursements, and Treasury.\nChampion transformation projects that leverage technology and data analytics to streamline processes and enhance control effectiveness.\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices across the network.\nStrategic Control Environment Leadership\nDesign and implement a robust control environment for S2P across USON, ensuring alignment with McKesson’s enterprise risk management and internal control standards.\nDevelop and maintain governance frameworks that address financial statement risks, process integrity, and data accuracy.\nContinuously assess and enhance controls to adapt to evolving business, regulatory, and technology landscapes.\nRisk Management & Compliance\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and data risks, including upstream and downstream process risks.\n Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), PCAOB, COSO, and US GAAP requirements, and support internal and external audit activities.\nMonitor and report on control effectiveness, ensuring timely remediation of deficiencies and proactive risk mitigation.\nPractice Engagement & Support\nServe as the primary escalation point for Accounts Payable and Cash Disbursement issues, providing expert guidance and resolution support to practices.\nSupport onboarding of new practices by integrating S2P processes into the USON control environment.\nManage practice disaffiliations to ensure proper separation and risk mitigation.\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Influence\nPartner with Accounts Payable, Practice Controllers, Network Accounting, USON Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of operational and accounting objectives.\nEducate and influence stakeholders on the importance of data integrity, control compliance, and risk management.\nFacilitate cross-functional teams to drive accountability and shared ownership of outcomes.\nLeadership, Communication & Change Management\nPresent control environment status, risks, and transformation progress to senior and executive leadership.\n Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (often without direct authority), fostering collaboration and high performance.\nDrive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes, controls, and technologies.\nData Stewardship & Analytics\nOversee the integrity and accuracy of data used in financial reporting and operational decision-making.\nLeverage data analytics to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process and control improvements.\nPromote data-driven decision-making and educate stakeholders on the value of high-quality data.\nMinimum Requirement\nDegree and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree required\nAdvanced degree in accounting or finance preferred.\nCPA preferred.\nCritical Skills\n10+ years of accounting and reporting experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s qualifications.\nDirect experience leading change and business / process transformation in a large complex public company. \nEffective communication skills including ability to present to Senior/ Executive Leadership. \nDemonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships with facets of the organization to develop and execute plans, leveraging various teams across the organization. \nThorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and internal control environments. \nAdditional Skills\nExcellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage and influence technical teams, business leaders, and external partners.\nStrategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.\nProven record of overseeing a portfolio of multiple projects and experience leading large scale transformation programs.\nComfortable with change, especially that which arises through transformation.\nPositive and flexible attitude to enable adjusting to different needs in an ever-changing environment.\nStrong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; comfortable managing trade-offs.\nAbility to lead others without direct authority.\nStrong knowledge of SOX regulations and requirements, PCAOB Standards, COSO guidelines, and US GAAP, accounting policies and auditing standards.\nHighly influential and ability to educate stakeholders on the role of data and its purpose in the business.\nTeams up and collaborates for speed, agility, delivery excellence and innovation.\nStrong negotiation and decision-making skills.\nSalary: 131,600.00 - 175,400.00 - 219,300.00 USD Annual with 20% MIP\nP5\nWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
