Regional drivers serve customers across assigned markets, while traveling drivers support multiple locations and gain exposure to different routes, teams, and operations.\nInspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.\nInspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.\nDrive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.\nMaintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions.\nUnload trailer and deliver product safely and accurately to customer locations.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:\nAt least 21 years of age.\nValid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).\nAt least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.\nMust meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.\nThis position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
