That's why our drivers build long-lasting careers with us.\nThis Shuttle Driver is responsible for the delivery of full trailers to the Domicile and taking empty trailers back to the Distribution Center.\nBenefits you can count on:\nDay 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance.\nPaid holidays, earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one.\n401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days.\nAdditional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more!\nWhat you’ll do as a Shuttle Driver:\nInspect the rig for defects pre- and post-trip and submit DOT inspection report.\nEnsure that product is secured inside the trailer for undamaged transport.\nMaintain driver log (Manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.\nMay at times perform line haul and/or backhaul.\nWork safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications you’ll bring as a Shuttle Driver Teammate:\nAt least 21 years of age\nValid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)\nAt least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience\nMeet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications\nThis position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
