That's why our drivers build long-lasting careers with us.\nBenefits you can count on:\nPay Rate: Drivers make $85,000 to $95,000.\nDay 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance. \nPaid holidays: earn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one. \n401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days. \nAdditional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more! \nWhat you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:\nInspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition. \nInspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery. \nDrive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises. \nMaintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions. \nUnload trailer, delivering product into customer premises. \nOther duties as assigned. \nQualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:\nAt least 21 years of age \nValid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) \nAt least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience \nMust meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications \nThis position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
