This role will serve as a key member of a two-person team responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our IBM Power Systems environment. Working closely with the Lead Administrator, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, security, and availability of critical business systems that support operations across the organization. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. \n3+ years of experience administering IBM i (AS/400, iSeries, IBM Power Systems) environments. \nExperience supporting IBM i 7.5 or newer operating systems preferred. \nHands-on experience with BRMS, MIMIX, FlashCopy, and Robot Scheduler. \nExperience supporting JD Edwards environments is strongly preferred. \nStrong understanding of backup, recovery, high availability, disaster recovery, and system performance tuning. \nWorking knowledge of security administration, user management, auditing, and compliance controls. \nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small infrastructure team. \nWillingness to participate in an on-call support rotation.\nThis position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
