Coordinate daily cycle counts and research variances. Provide reports to necessary departments. \nConduct daily inventory analysis of warehouse reports to solve inventory problems. \nEnsure proper warehouse slotting to promote successful shipping operations and customer order fulfillment. \nEnsure all policies and procedures are followed to minimize inventory shrink and risk, including but not limited to inventory damages, inventory exceptions, claims, and transfers. \nSupervise inventory control personnel. \nThis position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion. on. \nQualifications you’ll bring as an Inventory Control Supervisor:\nBe at least 18 years of age. \nHave a high school diploma or equivalent. \nAS/400 experience is preferred. \nHave some previous work experience in a progressively responsible food service distribution position with some supervisory/management responsibilities. \nHave a working knowledge of principal foodservice disciplines, including purchasing, customer service, accounting, warehousing, and transportation.\nBe proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word). \nThis position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
