Responsible for office duties as assigned.\nBenefits you can count on:\nPay Rate: $20.50 per hour + .40 shift premium.\n Sunday to Thursday, 4:30PM Start time.\nGenerous benefits that start on your 60th day: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance. \nEarn vacation time, and sick leave accrual from day one and paid holidays after 90 days. \n401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days. \nAdditional benefits: pet insurance, parental leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more! \nWhat you’ll do as a Warehouse Receiver:\nExamine condition of product as it arrives from various carriers. \nDocument overages / shorts / damages, expiration dates, product temperature, trailer condition, evidence of pest infestation or product tampering.\nDirect outside carriers and contract unloaders on how to sort and segregate product.\nFollow and maintain product integrity as required by McLane Company standards.\nPrint pallet labels, enter purchase orders into computer and assign doors.\nCover for Receiving Clerk as needed.\nComply effectively with company work and safety rules.\nContinually meet assigned production standards.\nMaintain a quality of work that limits mispicks, shorts and damages.\nFollow directions.\nWork independently and in a team environment.\nBe trained and certified to operate any required equipment within 30 days after hire.\nComply with company attendance policy.\nMaintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the Distribution Center; work schedules may require working an early shift, staying long for a late shift, and weekend work depending on the customer and operational requirements of the division.\nWork in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38°F to 110°F.\nStand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or more. \nAbility and willingness to select/load/unload and/or deliver ALL products that may be ordered by our customers.\nOther duties may be assigned. \nQualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:\nAt least 18 years of age.\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred. \nPreferably have previous receiving experience. \nThis position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
