Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute commute to Carrollton, TX.\nBenefits you can count on:\nDay 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid life insurance \nPaid time off begins day one.\n401(k) Profit Sharing Plan after 90 days.\nAdditional benefits: pet insurance, maternity/paternity leave, employee assistance programs, discount programs, tuition reimbursement program, and more!\nWhat you’ll do as a Senior Accounting Analyst:\nRecommend, develop, and implement accounting systems that bring automation, accuracy in reporting, and the ability to monitor business processes within the business unit. \nAssist in all aspects of the financial period close process, including preparation of journal entries; assist with timely preparation of period-end reports and analyses. \nReconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned and assist with internal and external audits of financial statements. \nAssist with preparation, review, and maintenance of annual operating budgets and participate in the affirmation process. \nAdvise and assist with monitoring compliance to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes/Oxley (SOX) controls, and other internal policies and best practices. \nThis position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned. \nQualifications you’ll bring as a Senior Accounting Analyst:\nBachelor's degree with major or primary emphasis in Accounting. \nCertified Public Accountant (or actively working toward licensure). \n5+ years of accounting experience. \nWorking knowledge of and willingness to learn various McLane operating systems. \nOpen to relocation opportunities. \nThis position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
