You’ll support Manufacturing Engineering and Planning to optimise the flow of work into the Machine Shop, helping ensure car components, pit equipment and wind tunnel parts progress efficiently while supporting quality and OEE targets.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork with Planning and Manufacturing Engineering to schedule and accept work into the Machine Shop, considering project plans and available capacity.\nPartner with Shift Leads and Team Leaders to support right first time, in full delivery.\nProvide reliable set and run time estimates and review actual timings to improve future planning.\nHelp ensure raw materials, gauges, bespoke cutters and fixtures are identified and planned at the earliest opportunity.\nCommunicate critical information and opportunities to Process Engineers and support improvement projects, including new part introduction and repeat-component revisions.\nProvide ideas and data to enhance MRP and MES systems, while contributing operational achievements, risks, issues and opportunities to team meetings\nCompany Description\nHigh performance isn't a given. It’s who we are.\nWe are racers.\nAre you?\nQualifications\nWhat You’ll Bring\nExperience in a high-technology, small-batch precision engineering or manufacturing environment.\nA proven track record of cross-functional liaison and delivery management.\nExperience working effectively in a team-orientated environment.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with excellent knowledge of MRP and MES systems.\nExperience introducing new working practices to support world-class manufacturing.\nAn understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies and control mechanisms.\nPersonal Attributes\nYou’ll be an excellent communicator with a professional, mature and respectful approach.
