MCM's platform covers asset tracking, maintenance and inspections, certification and training, evidence, and fleet management, all built by a team that develops and supports the product in-house.\nMCM's mission is to help agencies know not just what they own, but what's at risk before anything goes wrong, building software that works as hard as the people who depend on it.\nAbout the Role\nMCM Technology is looking to hire a Solutions Engineer to join our sales team. This is a full-time, fully remote role with travel of up to 40%, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.\nThe Solutions Engineer will support both virtual and live demonstrations of the MCM platform, which currently includes asset tracking, maintenance and inspections, certification and training, evidence, and fleet management, along with additional product offerings that may be developed or acquired. We're stronger together!\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nTeam with our Regional Sales Managers and Leadership to conduct senior-level presentations and technical product demonstrations for prospective and existing customers, presenting and positioning in a persuasive, engaging, and credible fashion.\nHelp translate current customer outcomes into case studies to present to prospective customers.\nIdentify opportunities in product positioning to acquire new business through both proactive cross-sell opportunity identification and support of new logo sales.\nPartner with leadership to conduct strategic planning, and collect and analyze competitor and market information to support existing solution positioning and product mix.\nHelp build a vibrant business with strong new sales conversion rates.\nGather direct market intel from conversations with prospective customers and share that information with the sales, marketing, and product teams.\nAssist the Sales Operations team in answering technical and functional RFP questions.\nRequirements\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.\nA minimum of five years of post-undergraduate experience in at least three of the following:\nPublic safety industry experience and expertise\nSolutions engineering experience in SaaS technology platforms\nSales experience in SaaS technology platforms\nTechnology consulting experience\nPublic safety technology or GovTech experience\nProven presentation and facilitation skills in front of an executive-level audience.\nAbility to pivot easily and reframe challenges as opportunities in presentations.\nDetailed, organized, and efficient, with the ability to self-manage competing priorities.\nIdeal Qualifications\nAbility to demonstrate and communicate the ROI of the offering, drawing on subject matter expertise and work experience that will enhance credibility with prospective customers.\nExperience with solution-focused
