We foster a culture of integrity, innovation, and collaboration - where your ideas matter, and your contributions make a real impact.\nAs a Cloud & Infrastructure Services Engineer, you will help shape and maintain the firm's modern hybrid technology environment, serving as a key contributor to cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, security, and operational excellence. In this role, you'll have ownership of core platforms including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and Exchange while partnering closely with internal stakeholders, security teams, and managed service providers to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology services. If you enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges, driving automation, and implementing innovative cloud solutions, we encourage you to apply. \nResponsibilities\nAdminister, configure, and support the firm's Microsoft ecosystem, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Exchange, user provisioning, licensing, and tenant management. \nDesign, deploy, and manage secure and scalable Microsoft Azure environments, including virtual machines, networking, storage, application services, VPN connectivity, and related cloud resources.\nMaintain and support hybrid infrastructure environments, including on-premises servers, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and directory services.\nDevelop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform and ARM templates to streamline and automate deployments. \nMonitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and other observability tools. \nManage identity and access services through Microsoft Entra ID, including conditional access, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and security controls. \nDesign and support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions utilizing Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Rubrik, and related technologies. \nImplement cloud governance standards, resource management practices, and cost optimization initiatives across Azure environments. \nProvide hands-on administration and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including switches, access points, gateways, SD-WAN technologies, VPN services, and wireless networking platforms. \nServe as the primary internal liaison with managed service providers for infrastructure and network-related support, escalations, and issue resolution.\nPartner with cybersecurity teams to strengthen infrastructure security, implement best practices, and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premises environments. \nCreate and maintain architecture documentation, operational procedures, technical standards, and disaster recovery plans. \nProvide advanced Tier 2/3 support for complex infrastructure issues and collaborate with vendors and Microsoft support when needed. \nStay informed on emerging cloud technologies, platform enhancements, and industry best practices to continuously improve the firm's technology environment. \nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. \n5+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering, including hands-on administration of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Exchange, and Active Directory environments. \nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security solutions. \nExperience managing Windows Server and Linux environments across both cloud and on-premises infrastructure. \nProficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates and experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps. \nStrong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking technologies. \nExperience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Bash, or similar tools. \nKnowledge of backup, disaster recovery, high-availability architectures, and business continuity planning. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills. \nExperience supporting enterprise networking infrastructure, including Ubiquiti or comparable networking platforms, and collaborating with managed service providers (MSPs) in a co-managed IT environment. \nIndustry certifications are strongly preferred, including Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102), Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700), or equivalent credentials.\nExperience working in a law firm or other professional services environment is preferred. \nFamiliarity with ITIL principles and experience using IT service management (ITSM) platforms or ticketing systems is preferred. \nAbout McNees\nHeadquartered in Harrisburg, Pa., McNees operates offices across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and Washington, D.C., giving our team a broad regional footprint and diverse opportunities for collaboration.
