Assess proposed design changes for cost feasibility, constructability, value engineering opportunities, and alignment with the Mister Car Wash brand and technical standards.

Document all approved prototype updates and coordinate changes with design consultants, equipment vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Track prototypical updates throughout the development pipeline, ensuring visibility and accuracy across all projects.

Report on value engineering options and associated metrics, including cost savings, schedule impacts, design implications, and material availability.

Maintain organized digital filing system for all project documents and revisions.

Oversee version control and distribution of current drawing packages to internal teams and external partners.

Technical Drawing & Documentation Management:

Maintain and update all internal architectural and technical drawings for accuracy, compliance, and consistency with prototype standards.

Communicate changes to internal design standards with consultants, internal teams, and relevant stakeholders.

Ensure that all documentation meets internal drafting standards and reflects the latest building system and equipment requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work with development team members and design consultants to ensure compliance with local zoning regulations, municipal design guidelines, and permitting requirements.

Participate in regular prototype reviews with internal teams to identify opportunities for improved constructability, cost efficiency, and operational performance.

Coordinate prototype updates to documents based on lessons learned from field execution.

Partner with construction team and partners to identify recurring pain points and propose design refinements.

Communicate design intent clearly and concisely—both graphically and verbally—to internal and external partners.

Develop training and educational material/presentations for internal teams as it relates to prototypical standards, intent, and recent updates.

Conduct periodic site visits to validate prototype implementation.

Project Support:

Support Store Development, Operations, and external design teams during project design, permitting, and construction phases.

Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders and Architects, Engineers, specialty consultants, and equipment vendors.

Provide architectural and technical support as needed to facilitate smooth project execution.

Serve as internal subject matter expert for architectural and technical design and documentation.

Note: The job duties above provide a general sense of the role; though, additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
