These principles are the foundation of McWane, Inc. and serve as a compass, offering personal guidance to navigate daily work situations.\n The Setup Technician will use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fixtures to investigate and correct various issues with the lines in the PEX department.\n Utilize hand tools or machines to investigate, disassemble and assemble parts.\nCome in before the production shift starts to prepare the lines for the day.\nEnsure the line is operating efficiently by reading faults and correcting them quickly.\nFast thinking to recognize problems and fix them as quickly as possible.\nCommunicate with others when a problem is more than their ability.\nWalk at a brisk pace for most of the day.\nRead and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.\nBe trained in other department technician roles, to be able to fill in if another department needs a technician.\nMaintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company work and safety rules, policies, procedures, and work instructions.\nLift and carry up to 50lbs.\nDemonstrate manual dexterity - the ability to precisely assemble parts/assemblies on fast paced production line.\nComprehend and follow blueprints, work instructions, EHS, and job procedures, Job Safety Analysis, and applicable paperwork.\nCommunicate efficiently with team members.\nPerform other duties as required.\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
