This role supports overall production uptime, preventive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nMaintenance & Equipment Repair\nPerform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and installation on machinery, tools, and industrial equipment.\nTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.\nConduct inspections and diagnose root causes of equipment failures.\nPerform welding, cutting, and fabrication when required.\nMaintain tools and equipment in safe, serviceable condition.\nSupport major equipment overhauls and rebuilds.\nPreventive Maintenance\nCarry out routine preventive maintenance activities according to schedules.\nDocument all maintenance tasks, repairs, and parts used.\nRecommend improvements to reduce future breakdowns and increase equipment reliability.\nSafety & Compliance\nFollow all EHS policies, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and safe work practices.\nReport hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment concerns promptly.\nEnsure all work complies with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.\nOperational Support\nAssist production teams with equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments.\nSupport installation and commissioning of new machinery.\nCollaborate with supervisors and operators to minimize downtime and resolve technical issues.\n Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or millwright work.\nMillwright trade certification or relevant industrial maintenance experience considered an asset.\nStrong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical.\nExperience with welding, cutting, and fabrication preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics.\nStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues independently.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nComputer literacy for maintenance documentation requirements.\nAbility to perform mathematical calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and adjustments.\nProblem-solving ability, especially in situations with limited standardization.\nPhysical Demands\nRegular standing, walking, bending, and reaching.\nUse of hands for handling tools, parts, and equipment.\nOccasional kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces.\nRegular lifting and moving of materials;
