Verify and process payroll information, determine pay and benefit entitlements for employees, maintain accurate payroll records, and provide payroll information within the company. This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive workplace culture, supporting operational needs, and promoting consistent HR practices.\nKey Responsibilities for Payroll Administrator / HR Generalist\nPayroll Administrator:\nMaintain and update employee information, such as records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements\nPrepare, verify and process all employee payroll related payments, including regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as bonuses and vacation pay\nComplete, verify and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment and medical insurance\nPrepare payroll related filings and supporting documentation, such as year-end tax statements, pension, Records of Employment and other statements\nCompile, review, and monitor statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts\nIdentify and resolve payroll discrepancies\nStrong background in payroll administration\nServe as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and workplace concerns.\nFoster a respectful, professional, and inclusive workplace culture.\nHR Generalist:\nRecruitment & Onboarding\nCoordinate full-cycle recruitment including job postings, interviews, reference checks, and offers.\nOrganize and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation.\nMaintain accurate personnel files and digital records.\nHR Administration\nSupport HRIS data entry, reporting, and record accuracy.\nAssist with benefits administration, enrollments, and employee inquiries.\nPrepare HR-related documentation including letters, forms, and reports.\nTrack attendance, leaves of absence, and compliance activities.\n2-4 years of experience in Payroll Administration and Human Resources or a related field.\nPost-secondary education in HR, Business Administration, or related discipline (CHRP designation an asset).\nStrong understanding of employment standards and HR best practices.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.\nExperience with HRIS platforms;
