The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.\n Pay Rate between $85,000 to $105,000\nJob Summary:\nDirectly supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nRecommend and Conduct Safety and other training for night shift electrical department personnel.\nDirect and coordinate the activities of electricians.\nConfer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.\nRecommend improvements for production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and/or efficiency.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, work orders, and company policies/procedures for employees.\nMay be required to work any shift.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nCompetencies:\nTeamwork- Able to work with people in any job to build morale and commitment to goals and objectives.\nSafety\nFollows all safe job procedures\nFollows all applicable lock out tag out procedures\nKeeps work area clean, safe, and orderly.\nReport to foreman any possible concerns regarding any unsafe equipment\nor working conditions.\nQualifications:\nAble to comprehend verbal and written instructions and procedures.\nGeneral knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.\nCapable of functioning under stressful situations.\nAccuracy and attention to detail.\nAble to prioritize work in a multitask environment.\nAbility to troubleshoot AC and DC circuits.\nKnowledgeable of NEC and NFPA 70E regulations.\nKnowledgeable of medium voltage systems and infrastructure.\nProficient in AB ladder logic troubleshooting for CompactLogix and ControlLogix.\nExperience and knowledge reading and understanding electrical schematics and single line diagrams.\nWorking knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment.\nAbility to calculate basic mathematical problems.\nEducation and/or Experience: Associate degree or 1-2 years related experience and/or training required; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience. Experience with CMMS preferred.\nComputer Skills: Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Windows, MS Office programs and applications for word processing, email, database management and spreadsheets.\nLanguage Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, Company policies, operating and procedure manuals and general instructions. Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. The ability to speak effectively and present information clearly to all audiences from upper management to employees.\nMathematical Skills: Ability to recognize budgetary constraints and utilize budgets for maximum effectiveness.\nReasoning Ability: Ability to utilize reports such as uptime and downtime reports to develop work orders and correct issues, minimizing downtime.\nOther Skills and Abilities: Must have a basic understanding of general technical knowledge and terminology.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
