As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly capable Project Coordinatorto help drive the successful delivery of our energy efficiency programs.\nIn this role, you will be a central player in supporting the execution of utility energy efficiency projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the program manager, program team, subcontractors, and clients to ensure tasks are completed on time,documentation is accurate, and communication flows smoothly across all stakeholders. The Project Coordinator is instrumental in keeping projects organized, resolving issues quickly, supporting reporting and compliance needs, and providing an exceptional customer experience on behalf of our utility partners.\nThe ideal candidate is tech-savvy, resourceful, and exceptionally organized, with strong communication skills and a passion for problem-solving. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities with confidence, take initiative to keep projects moving forward, and love supporting meaningful work that benefits communities, this is a great opportunity to grow with a mission-driven company.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport the operations of a residential utility energy efficiency program that provides financial incentives to eligible customers, ensuring smoothdelivery of the program with a positive customer experience.\nTrack, monitor, and report project statusand key performance metrics accurately and in a timely manner to support both internal oversight and client reporting requirements.\nAssist in maintaining program forecasts, dashboards, and performance data to ensure visibility intoprogress toward goals and to identifyareas where adjustments may be needed.\nProvide day-to-day support to field staff and a network of participating subcontractors, including coordinating assignments, resolving operational questions, and ensuring adherence to program requirements.\nMaintain proactive and professional communication with subcontractors, customers, and internal program teams; clarify program rules, troubleshoot participation barriers, and elevate issues as appropriate.\nSupport the onboarding and ongoing engagement of subcontractors, helping strengthen industry relationships and providing insights that contribute to program improvements.\nContribute to process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and quality control.\nMaintain organized program documentation, records, and tracking systems to ensure data integrity and compliance with utility and regulatory requirements.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support the successful execution of program operations and organizational goals.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Energy, Communications, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered (one year of experience may substitute for one year of education).\nThis position requires the employee to be based in New Jersey.\nAt least 1 year of professional work experience, preferably supporting energy efficiency or demand response programs, or working on consulting projects for utilities, state or local governments, or non-profit organizations.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record.\nAbility to travel (10%) and complete occasional overnight travel for client meetings, training, and program events; mileage reimbursement provided.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n1-3 years of experience in energy efficiency, construction management, HVAC, building sciences, or related fields.\nPost-secondary education or formal training in Business, Accounting, Construction Management \nProfessional certifications such as BPI, CEM, or other industry-recognized credentials.\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, subcontractors, utility partners, and diverse stakeholder groups.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to think critically and adapt to evolving program needs.\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nCommitment to sound business ethics, including discretion and the protection of proprietary and confidential information.\nBilingual in English and any other language is a plus.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nPrimarily remote, with travel required for customer meetings, client engagements, and regional events.\nFast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented culture with opportunities for professional growth.\nBENEFITS\nMD Energy Advisors offers competitive salaries and benefits.
