We would love to hear from you!\nWe are on the hunt for a motivated and talented DevOpsEngineering Student in our Digital engineering department at our Montreal office. This is a 4-month internship starting in January 2027.\nOverall, the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.\nThe successful candidate will provide support to scrum-teams for the automation of development of embedded system such as satellite payloads and other spacecraft.\nAs our DevOps Engineering Student, you will:\nResponsibilities:\nSupport continuous improvement of our delivery pipelines (CI/CD)\nDesign, document, and build systems to automate development activities\nTroubleshooting of infrastructure-related issues\nPerform system administration tasks, such as configuration management, creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and supporting tools\nManage the engineering tools and 3rd party IP (procurement, licensing, installation, upgrade, maintenance renewal, computing capacity planning, …) for PCB design, FPGA, software, RF and Systems\nExperience and skills required:\nInterested candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, computer) or computer science with three (3) years completed.\nExperience with version control software (GIT, SVN, …)\nSome knowledge of automation software like Jenkins\nKnowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash\nSome programming experience\nExperience with installing and configuring new software under windows & Linux\nSystem administration\nBilingual French and English (interfaces with suppliers and colleagues outside of Quebec).\nDesirable skills:\nExperience with SQL Databases\nSome experience in Web development to provide development teams with GUI tools\nKnowledge to build and deploy Virtual Machines (VMware, VSphere, VirtualBox)\n**Please upload a copy of both your resume and transcript when you apply.**\nSpecial Considerations:\nSuccessful candidates must obtain and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).\nMDA is proud to provide accommodation(s) during the recruitment process.
