We would love to hear from you!\nWe’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Digital Electronics Test Station Design. This is a 4 months mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in January 2027.\nOverall, the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.\nThe successful candidate will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop state-of-the-art spacecraft electronic equipment, DC power supplies and associated regulator circuitry using PCB technology. Contribute into the designs while supporting documentation such as some analysis, parts lists, schematics, assembly drawings and test procedures.\nRole :\nThe Digital Electronics Test Station Design Intern will be responsible for design, integration and commissioning of specialized electronic test equipment for testing mixed signal (Digital & RF) electronic products used in satellites and other space-based systems The chosen candidate will work closely with PCB designers, Digital (FPGA), Software and RF Engineers as part of a product integration team responsible for developing complex test systems and validating flight equipment. A dynamic work environment will allow for exposure to many facets of electronic product development and allow the candidate to grow in a well-rounded manner.\nResponsibilities :\nCo-ordinate with the product design team with the help of a senior Test Specialist to develop test architectures and methods for verifying the performance of flight equipment.\nAid in the design of specialized PCB assemblies, for custom test equipment\nWork with the product design team and test technicians to review data and debug test equipment and flight hardware\nProduce technical drawings, reports and other documentation\nQualifications :\nMinimum of 5 session completed of an Engineering degree and interest in the field of electronics testing and integration\nUnderstanding of electronic circuits and communication protocols\nPCB design experience\nExperience with laboratory instrumentation such as:\nOscilloscope\nNetwork analyzer (asset)\nSpectrum analyzer (asset)\nArbitrary waveform generator (asset)\nGood verbal and written communication skills ideally both in English and French (Contact with customers outside Quebec).\nThe ideal candidate would be a multidisciplinary, pro-active, enthusiastic, and result-oriented team player\nPlease upload a copy of both your Resume and your Transcript when you apply.\nComments/Special Considerations:\nSuccessful candidates must obtain and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).\nMDA is proud to provide accommodation(s) during the recruitment process.
