We would love to hear from you!\nWe’re on the hunt for a motivated and talented Engineering Student in our FPGAdepartment at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. This is a 4 month mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in January 2027.\nThe successful candidate’s work scope would be similar to that of a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.\nThe FPGA Verification intern will report to a Senior Designer and will be involved in the verification of FPGAs for various space applications such as obotics, radar imagery, command & control, telecommunications and digital signal processing.\nAs our Engineering Student, you will:\nTasks and Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with senior verifiers to develop SystemVerilog (or VHDL) test benches for\nthe verification of FPGAs;\nApply the various techniques and approaches of the Universal Verification Methodology\n(UVM);\nWrite test cases to verify the requirements;\nContribute to the development of the test infrastructure;\nDocument and report problems found to designers and assist them in identifying the\nsource of the problems;\nSupport laboratory testing\nExperience and skills required:\nCompleted third year of bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering;\nDemonstrated academic performance (3.2/4.0 minimum);\nDesire to learn;\nCollaborative and dynamic personality;\nSense of initiative;\nDesirable skills:\nExperience with one or more of the following languages: VHDL, Verilog,\nSystemVerilog, Tcl, Python, C/C++\nKnowledge of Linux, Confluence, Jira, SVN, GIT\nProven academic performance\nKnowledge of French and English(interfaces with suppliers and colleagues outside of Quebec)\nPlease upload a copy of both your resume and transcript when you apply.\nSpecial Considerations:\nSuccessful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.\nEqual Opportunity Statement:\nMDA Ltd. is proud to provide accommodation(s) during the recruitment process.
