For more information, visit www.mda.space.\nRole:\nThis role focuses on optimizing the environment for our MES - Manufacturing Execution System and associated subsystems in alignment with other major enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, Quality and Project Management supporting all MDA sites. The Business Analyst analyzes complex business problems and provide automated sustainable solutions to the organization. The Candidate supports the system development life cycle from designing to testing phases. Interpretation, critical thinking, problem solving, communications and organizational skill are required. The Candidate must have a good ability to work independently and demonstrate high level of interest for innovation.\nResponsibilities\nProvides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective, meet user requirements and business policies\nEnsure compliance to MDA policies and cohesion of practices across sites\nLeverage utilization of core business systems and applications (ERP and Manufacturing Applications)\nRecommend changes, propose alternatives, improvements and identifies gaps where business needs are not being met.\nConfigures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements and policies\nDesigns details of system flows\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues\nParticipate in technical design, testing, implementation plan, maintenance, system and technical support for Systems related initiatives\nImplement new technologies by participating in the assessment of tools, software, and technological practices and maintain compliance to MDA Data Governance policy\nDesign training programs, create documentation and user guides, and deliver training to other Team Members\nCollaborate with other teams, team members and stakeholders\nProvide general Systems Analysis and Design support for other Business Systems activities as required\nUse tools like PowerBI, Excel, develop and report findings on key performance indicators, projections, and performance analyses\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science/Information Technology or other relevant subject areas and/or proven Business Analyst professional experience\n2+ years of experience as a business analyst, with specific experience in MES, ERP and other associated systems\nKnowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) (Microsoft SQL Server)\nSome programming experience (C#, Microsoft SQL and VB.Net)\nReporting and Business Intelligence platform: Power BI, IBM Cognos, Crystal reports, Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) are a plus or equivalent\nComplete understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Flow and Quality\nCritical Thinking, Strong problem-solving and analytical skills\nHighly motivated, enthusiastic, and a positive thinker\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Infor LN 10.7, Manufacturing Execution System and Quality Management System\nExperience with process mapping and workflow design tools\nProficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence or other project management and documentation tools\nProven experience as a Tester in the software development environment\nGood understanding and ability to apply various process and Design Patterns\nHands on experience in Soap/Rest API/web service\nSpecial Considerations:\nSuccessful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).\nWe’re a dream team of purpose-driven, collaborative and passionate people, and we are constantly looking for others to join #TeamMDA to ignite new and innovative approaches to problem-solving that push us forward to improve life on and above Earth.
