We’d love to hear from you!\nWe are looking for a Test Engineer to join our satellite systems team at our Montreal office.\nThe test engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop state-of-the-art test stations to automate the production of geostationary or constellation antennas. You will be part of a specialized test team to ensure that once in orbit, antenna performance meets customer requirements and delivers the communications service required for the mission.\nRole:\nThe junior test engineer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop state-of-the-art test stations to automate the production of geostationary antennas or constellations. You will be part of a specialized test team tasked with ensuring that the performance of the antennas, once in orbit, meets customer requirements and enables the provision of the communication services required for the mission.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nLiaise with the design team\nAnalyze test requirements\nDefine test methods and techniques\nDefine test equipment and test data processing methods\nDraft test plans, procedures, and reports\nDevelop software applications and automated test procedures for RF measurements\nCode and validate test sequences\nMonitoring tests and providing operational support according to the required specialty:\nRF in PIM, Near-Field, or Compact Test Range\nRF in Active Electronics, Burn-In\nPower in Electronic Power Converters\nMetrology in Flight Unit Alignment\nMechanical in Thermal Testing\nPlanning and coordinating test activities and the technical team.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or physics.\nThe candidate must have a background in electrical engineering or physics with a solid foundation in electromagnetism or microwave theory, as well as strong programming skills.\n2 years of experience\nA motivated individual with a sense of initiative, strong team coordination skills, and a passion for improving testing techniques.\nGood oral and written French skills\n#LI-PP1 #Sp\nComments/Special Considerations:\nSuccessful candidates must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the reliability level and pass the security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.\nBenefits Statement:\nMDA offers competitive compensation and benefits to its employees at all locations.
