That's why we want to start out by telling you what's in it for you:\nWe have an amazing platform that maximizes revenue for thousands of healthcare organizations across the country!\nWe embrace diversity in a serious way! We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.\nWe celebrate and promote career growth and advancement.\nWe have an awesome on-demand learning program.\nWe do fun stuff like remote Cooking Classes, Yoga Sessions & Mixology Classes because we like to have fun!\nWe have an awesome benefits package with Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage & 401K (with company match).\nWe have an unlimited vacation policy - that's right, take vacation when you want and come back to work refreshed!\nWe have cool Peer Nominated Awards & Recognition because we like to celebrate our employees!\nWe are currently seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team.\nThe Cloud DevOps Engineer will be the single point of accountability for how software reaches our customers across a multi-tenant, HIPAA-regulated platform. MDaudit is growing fast and our platform demands are scaling with it. In this role, you'll build the CI/CD automation and release infrastructure that lets engineering teams move faster and ship with confidence. This role reports to the Engineering Manager and works closely with senior engineers and the CTO.\nDay-to-day, this role owns the full release lifecycle - coordinating deployments across UAT, pre-production, and production environments, managing database change propagation across our multi-customer architecture, and building the pipelines in Azure DevOps that move code from commit to production on AWS. You'll monitor platform observability, drive the shift from manual processes to automated, gated pipelines, and work alongside development teams on release readiness. The person in this seat will have the opportunity to define how MDaudit deploys software from the ground up, with direct visibility into engineering leadership and a direct line to the company's broader AI and product roadmap.\nTravel may be required up to 3 times per year for company meetings.\nThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.\nRequirements\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not limited to the following:\nDeployment & Release Engineering (Primary)\nOwn deployments end-to-end across UAT, pre-production, and production environments, coordinating release readiness with development teams and securing final sign-off from engineering leadership.\nBuild, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to streamline how teams ship to AWS.\nApply deployment practices (e.g., rolling releases) that minimize customer impact.\nManage database deployments as part of every release - propagating schema and data changes consistently across all customer databases.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to understand their release needs and reduce friction in the path to production.\nMonitor API observability dashboards (CloudWatch, SigNoz) and triage issues to the appropriate development team as needed.\nDrive the evolution from manual deployment processes to automated, gated pipelines - including rollback mechanisms and pre/post-deployment validation to protect against release failures.\nPlatform & Reliability Engineering (Secondary)\nMake targeted Infrastructure as Code changes (Terraform) when needed to support deployment and release workflows.\nContribute to SLI/SLO definition and participate in post-incident reviews and root-cause analysis.\nPartner with the Security and Infrastructure team on provisioning needs and contribute to infrastructure changes when required to support application deployments.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nEngineering: partner day-to-day with development teams on release planning, deployment readiness, and post-release validation.\nSecurity: coordinate on change management, access controls, secrets handling, and vulnerability remediation.\nIT / Infrastructure: work with the internal Infra team on AWS provisioning needs, networking, and platform-level dependencies.\nOffshore vendor partners: coordinate hand-offs, deployment windows, and shared triage workflows across time zones.\nData & Analytics: coordinate deployment scheduling to avoid conflicts with existing data pipelines, ETL jobs, and scheduled processes.\nDocumentation\nAuthor runbooks, deployment checklists, and operational documentation so release knowledge is shared and repeatable.\nEducation and Experience\n 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.\nStrong working knowledge of the AWS ecosystem (compute, networking, IAM, storage, monitoring).\nPractical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps experience is a strong plus.\nScripting proficiency in at least one of: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.\nComfort operating in a .NET Core application environment.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including running schema/data migrations and propagating database changes across multiple customer databases.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).\nDemonstrated experience modernizing manual or legacy deployment processes into automated CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments (dev, UAT, pre-production, production).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug across applications, pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.\nExcellent written and verbal communication; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and coordinate with engineering, product, security, and vendor partners.\nHands-on ownership mindset - comfortable being the single point of accountability for releases and driving issues to resolution. This role is for engineers who thrive in the trenches, not at the whiteboard.\nComfortable with occasional off-hours deployment windows; we schedule releases in advance and work to minimize disruption to personal time.\nPreferred:\nPrior experience in a regulated environment (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2).\nAWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps).\nExperience with observability tooling such as SigNoz, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.\nExposure to containerized workloads (ECS, EKS, Docker).\nWorking knowledge of Linux administration and command-line tooling.\nFamiliarity with AWS Bedrock or AI/LLM integration patterns.\nFamiliarity with database deployment and migration tooling such as Liquibase, Redgate, Flyway, or DbUp.\nSalary Description\n$120,000 - $130,000\nNotice of AI Use in Job Application Review\nAs part of our commitment in creating a fair, efficient, and consistent hiring process we may use artificial intelligence (AI) to help our recruiting teams organize, summarize, and analyze information provided by candidates, including resumes, application responses, and other materials submitted during the application process.AI may be used to identify patterns, highlight relevant skills, and experience, and assist in comparing a candidate’s qualifications with the requirement of a specific role. These tools are to improve efficiency and consistency while supporting more informed hiring decisions, which will ultimately be made by the hiring team.","description_format":"text","description_chars":7518,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["401k plan"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Artificial Intelligence","Health Care","Revenue Cycle & Medical Billing"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-01T22:19:57Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":9,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.9,"p_active":0.355,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":74,"expected_fill_days":18,"reasons":["conf:65","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-10-05T05:45:15Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/mdaudit-cloud-devops-engineer-site-reliability-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/mdaudit-cloud-devops-engineer-site-reliability-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-06T01:44:49Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2489,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2511,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-07T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":2171099},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=2171099"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fmdaudit-cloud-devops-engineer-site-reliability-engineer"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fmdaudit-cloud-devops-engineer-site-reliability-engineer"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fmdaudit-cloud-devops-engineer-site-reliability-engineer"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/mdaudit-cloud-devops-engineer-site-reliability-engineer\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fmdaudit-cloud-devops-engineer-site-reliability-engineer"}]}
