This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge data visualization tools and contribute to meaningful projects in a dynamic, international environment.\nCore Responsibilities\nPrepare monthly, quarterly and yearly variance analyses, comparing actual results against prior year performance and current forecasts\n\nBuild and maintain financial models, update forecasts and create dashboards using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to track key performance indicators\n\nSupport the forecasting process for all MDPI offices, ensuring accurate projections and communicating results clearly to management\n\nCollect and prepare financial reports according to MDPI reporting standards, supporting continuous improvement of reporting processes and data quality\n\nCollaborate with AR and Accounting teams to validate revenue booking and streamline the month-end closing process\n\nConduct ad-hoc analyses and support new projects related to financial reporting and analysis\n\nParticipate in the consolidation of the group's financial statements\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in finance, statistics, or business economics\n\n2+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Controlling, Reporting or Corporate Finance\n\nExperience with forecasting and variance analysis is essential; international company experience is advantageous\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft O365, Power BI, SQL, and financial analysis tools\n\nStrong English skills in written and spoken language\n\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail\n\nAbility to transform financial data into practical insights and communicate findings effectively\n\nExcellent time management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment\n\nAbout MDPI\nHeadquartered in Switzerland, MDPI is a fully Open Access publisher with a portfolio of more than 500 journals across all scientific disciplines.
