This commissioning role will assist in the commissioning process for power generation and distribution systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), automatic transfer switches (ATS), power distribution units (PDUs), medium-voltage switchgear, protective relaying systems, and related electrical infrastructure. The candidate must have a working knowledge of electrical power systems or equivalent industry experience, along with strong communication and leadership skills. \nThis position will require a minimum of 100% travel.\nJob Duties:\nAssist with developing, overseeing, and writing commissioning policies, scripts and procedures.\nValidate equipment installations.\nPerform construction observations and develop thorough test plans.\nExecute tests for a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems and ensure testing is performed in conformance with standards and specifications.\nReview and analyze data and prepare technical reports.\nReview design documents and equipment submittals.\nMaintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n2+ years of industry experience with a strong emphasis in data centers preferred.\nBachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred but will consider other engineering disciplines, two (2) year degree, military training, or equivalent work experience.\nPassion for leading in moments of ambiguity, particularly in the realm of construction and electrical operational problems.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nTop-notch organization in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.\nExperience with MS Office products is critical.\nMust thrive in a fast-paced environment, be motivated by deadlines, and possess the ability to multi-task\nWorking knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards.\nExperience conducting quality control of electrical construction documents.\nProficiency with AutoCAD. Bluebeam experience a plus.\nProfessional certifications (e.g., Certified Commissioning Professional) are a plus.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompensation and benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and may vary based on location and applicable laws.
