The scope of projects will include data centers, industrial buildings, offices and other high-profile construction projects. This role will be highly collaborative amongst Meade staff, clients, vendors, and external disciplines. Travel to job sites may be required for site observations and client meetings.\nJob Duties:\nIndependently drive projects forward throughout design and construction phases.\nDesign mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers.\nOversee the production of all mechanical designs, systems and drawings.\nWork amongst a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications.\nCoordinate with external vendors, internal design teams and manufacturers.\nMajor equipment selection and scheduling.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n4+ years of Mechanical Engineering design experience designing mechanical systems for data centers or other mission critical projects.\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.\nValid Mechanical P.E. license preferred.\nExperience working independently, managing priorities and providing mentorship to junior staff.\nStrong understanding of mechanical systems and energy codes.\nAbility to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in order to achieve long-range objectives.\nSelf-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team.\nTop-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills.\nProficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM and Revit.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nCompensation and benefits are subject to eligibility requirements and may vary based on location and applicable laws. The pay range for this position will be provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
