The scope of projects will include data centers, industrial buildings, offices, and other high-profile construction projects. This role will be highly collaborative amongst Meade staff, clients, vendors, and external disciplines. \nJob Duties:\nSupport the design and documentation of mechanical and plumbing systems using Revit for various projects, including data centers, industrial buildings, and offices.\nDevelop detailed HVAC and plumbing system layouts within Revit, including ductwork, piping, and equipment placement.\nPerform engineering calculations for load analysis, equipment sizing, and system performance optimization to ensure design accuracy.\nCoordinate with architects, electrical engineers, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within Revit models.\nWrite and edit mechanical equipment specifications, select equipment, mechanical systems, and devices while considering cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency.\nReview submittals, RFIs, and change orders, assist with the preparation of record drawings, and participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning work.\nEnsure all designs comply with local, state, and national building codes, standards, and sustainability requirements.\nCollaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to resolve technical challenges and improve design efficiency.\nStay updated on the latest Revit features, industry trends, and best practices to support continuous improvement in mechanical design workflows.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n4+ years' experience in MEP mechanical design. \nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.\nSkills in HVAC design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, load software, etc.\nFamiliarity with HVAC codes, standards, and best practices.\nGood communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.\nTop-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficiency in BIM, CFD, Energy Modeling or other advanced tools and methods for HVAC design and analysis.\nCertification from ASHRAE, LEED, or other relevant organizations.\nExperience in green building or energy efficiency projects, such as LEED, ENERGY STAR, or USGBC.\nCommissioning experience.\nPlumbing design experience.\nCompensation & Benefits:\nThis position is available to candidates residing in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, FL, GA, IN, MI, MO, NV, OH, OK, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV.
