This scientific position offers unique growth opportunities for the successful candidate to contribute meaningfully to the creation and development of our services, expand their knowledge base by participating in multidisciplinary teams, and advance their career in capabilities and responsibilities.\nKey Roles and Responsibilities:\nUnder close guidance from senior scientific staff, the successful candidate will:\n· Execute routine lab procedures for the extraction of small molecule therapeutics from complex biological matrices\n· Develop basic skills for operation of LC-MS systems for quantitative analysis\n· Utilize analytical software to process data and evaluate results\n· Prepare and review data summaries for submission to clients\n· Participate in efforts to improve processes and streamline procedures\n· Proactively communicate analytical results and study status with Principal Investigator\n· Collaborate with colleagues at all levels within and across departments\n· Perform all other related duties as assigned\nMinimum Education and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or another related scientific field. No prior laboratory experience required. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered as substitution for the specific criteria outlined above.\nSkills:\n· Highly organized and detail-oriented while working under tight timelines\n· Adapts readily, willingly, and effectively to changes in assignments and priorities\n· Able to multitask and independently manage time to maximize productivity\n· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills\n· Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nPersonal Attributes:\nIn addition to the attributes described above, the ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, open-minded, self-aware, flexible, data-driven and objective in its evaluation, persistent and optimistic in the face of challenges and uncertainty, and willing to make decisions and take ownership for assigned responsibilities.\nCompensation:\nThe target base salary for this position is between $51,400 - $65,400 per year. The specific rate for this position may vary and will be based upon factors including, but not limited to the individual’s experience, education, and skills.
