DC Team Leader - Night Shift (FTC)
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leaderto join our Night Shift leadership team on a fixed-term contract until January 2028.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about people, operational excellenceand continuous improvement, and wants to make a meaningful contribution to the success of the Distribution Centre.
The Role You Could Play:
In this position, you’lllead and motivate your team to deliver daily operational targets while maintaininga strong focus on Safety, Quality, Productivity and Service.
You’llcreate a positive and inclusive environment where team members feel supported to perform at their best, while ensuring operational standards are consistently met. Working closely with Operations Managers, Team Leaders and other shifts, you’llhelp keep the operation running smoothly.
Lead, coachand develop team members, building capability, accountabilityand a high-performing team culture.
Coordinate labour and resources effectively to respond to changing volumes and business requirements.
Monitor operational performance throughout the shift, taking action to addressissues and ensure targets and KPIs are achieved.
Drive operational excellence by maintainingstandards, identifyingpractical solutionsand supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate and collaborate across teams and shifts, providing clear handovers to ensure continuity across the operation.
What You Will Bring:
You’rea confident and capable people leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You’recomfortable navigating changing priorities, using data to guide decisionsand keeping your team focused on delivering great outcomes. You lead by example, build strong relationshipsand bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to everything you do.
Previousleadership experience within a warehouse, Distribution Centreor similarly fast-paced operational environment.
Strong operational capability, with the ability to use data and KPIs to drive performance, manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing volumes.
Confident people leadership skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build strong relationships, coach and develop others, and provide constructive feedback when needed.
A safety and improvement mindset, with a strong commitment to operational standards, practical problem-solvingand continuous improvement.
You are available to work Night Shift for the duration of this fixed-term opportunity, bringing reliability, initiativeand a commitment to leading by example and demonstratingour company values.
