You'll contribute to features in our live app, working alongside experienced engineers. With guidance and support, you'll take ownership of clearly scoped work, from implementation and testing through to release, and build confidence and independence as you go.\nWhat you'll do\n\nBuild and maintain our mobile app using React Native\nTurn Figma designs into polished, responsive experiences\nWork on diverse features such as authentication, experimentation, analytics and push notifications\nContribute to automated testing across unit, integration and ideally E2E frameworks\nCollaborate with designers and our tech lead to turn ideas into working product\nHelp investigate production issues and implement and test fixes, with support from experienced engineers\nUse AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor or Codex in your everyday workflow, and understand, review and test the code they generate\nWhat you'll bring\n\nAround 1-2 years of hands-on commercial experience with React Native and TypeScript\nFamiliarity with building reusable UI components and working with component libraries or design systems\nFoundational knowledge of responsive layouts, accessibility, animations and mobile performance, with a willingness to develop these skills\n You will also have:\n\nAn understanding of iOS and Android fundamentals, including platform differences and app lifecycles\nA basic understanding of client state versus server state, and exposure to Zustand or similar (Redux, MobX)\nExperience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs, including loading states, errors and async data\nSome experience writing automated tests, ideally with Jest or React Native Testing Library\nFamiliarity with Git, code reviews and Agile ways of working\nClear communication, a collaborative approach and a willingness to ask questions and seek feedback\nYou don't need to tick every box. We value curious people who ask why and think problems through before jumping to a solution.
