In this role, you’ll play a critical part in delivering a seamless, accurate and compliant payroll experience for every MECCA team member.\nWorking within a high-performing Payroll team, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring team members are paid correctly and on time, every time. You’ll collaborate closely with People & Education and Finance, helping maintain data integrity and supporting a positive team member experience, while also contributing to continuous improvement as MECCA continues to grow.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nDeliver end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness \nManage payroll variations including terminations, leave calculations and adjustments \nMaintain payroll data integrity across systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance \nRespond to payroll queries, providing clear, timely and stakeholder-focused support \nContribute to process improvements, system enhancements and testing initiatives \nCollaborate with People & Education and Finance teams to ensure accurate data flow and payroll outcomes \nWhat You Will Bring\nMinimum 4 years’ experience in payroll, ideally in a high-volume environment \nKnowledge of payroll legislation including PAYG, superannuation and Awards \nProven ability to manage end-to-end payroll processes with high accuracy \nExperience with payroll systems (e.g. Workday, HR3, UKG or similar) and intermediate Excel skills \nRetail industry experience highly desirable
