PR & Social Media Lead

We’re looking for a PR & Social Lead tojoin our MECCA-MaginationsCommunity Team and help take kit: to its next stage of growth. This is an opportunity to shape how the brand shows up across PR, social, creatorsand culture - building awareness across Australia and New Zealand while helping grow kit: on the international stage.

The Role You Could Play:

Reporting to the Head of Community, you’llleadPR and social strategy and execution for kit:,bringing an entrepreneurial mindset and plenty of ideas to a young brand with big ambitions. You will:

• Lead kit:’sPR activity across AU, NZ markets, building strong media relationships and creating culturally relevant moments that earn attention beyond product

• Own kit:’ssocial presence across Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, leading content calendars, feed builds, native content creationand optimisation to drive performance and brand growth

• Build and manage creator, influencer and talent relationships across AU and NZ, while partnering with specialist agencies to support international creator activity

• Identifypartnerships, talent and creative opportunities that can amplify kit:,driving hype, conversationand brand awareness beyond the walls of MECCA

• Lead performance reporting across PR, social and creator activity, turning insights into clear recommendations and continually testing new formats, hooksand ways to grow the brand

What You Will Bring:

You’rea PR and social media professional who thinks like an entrepreneur - proactive, culturally connectedand comfortable building the playbook rather than waiting for one. Ideally, you will bring:

• 5-6 years’ experience across PR and social media, ideally within beauty, fashion, wellness, luxuryor lifestyle

• Strong expertiseacross Instagram, TikTokand emerging social platforms, with a genuine understanding of what makes brands culturally relevant and content perform

• Proven experience building relationships with media, creators, influencers and talent, alongside strong writing, pitchingand communication skills

• An innovative, proactive mindset with the ability to generate ideas, manage multiple projects and make confident decisions in a fast-moving environment

• A genuine passion for brand building, beautyand culture, with the curiosity to explore new platforms, marketsand technologies - including emerging applications of AI in marketing

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where priorities can shift quickly. Some travel, event attendance and out-of-hours or weekend social activity will form part of the role.
