Work directly with users and product colleagues to understand a problem, ship an initial solution and improve it through use.\nThis is a generalist engineering role across frontend, backend and data. You'll learn unfamiliar domains, make practical product decisions and own implementation through production, investigating how users work and what they need.\nWhat you will be doing:\nBuild end-to-end workflows: Develop user interfaces, services, APIs and data models. Take a product from an early prototype through deployment and ongoing use.\n\nWork directly with users: Observe how people work, identify bottlenecks and turn feedback into clear requirements. Make complex tasks easier without losing information users depend on.\n\nConnect tools and data: Build integrations, imports and exports across unfamiliar systems. Handle inconsistent inputs, validation errors and access boundaries clearly.\n\nDevelop reusable components: Identify common needs across products and build components that are straightforward to maintain. Balance reuse against the needs of the current problem.\n\nOwn reliability: Test, deploy, monitor and support what you ship. Investigate failures across the stack and improve performance and usability based on production evidence.\n\nIterate with product judgment: Scope useful releases, instrument important workflows and assess whether changes help users. Communicate technical tradeoffs and collaborate with domain specialists.\n\nWhat you bring:\nEngineering experience: You bring 4+ years of engineering experience and have shipped and maintained working products across the frontend, backend and database, with responsibility beyond an initial demonstration.\n\nInterface development: You can build clear, interactive web applications and handle loading states, errors and complex user input thoughtfully.\n\nBackend and data: You can design APIs and data models, integrate external systems and debug processing or storage problems.\n\nProduct judgment: You can turn an ambiguous request into a useful first release, work closely with users and revise your approach as evidence changes.\n\nAdaptability and ownership: You learn unfamiliar workflows quickly, investigate problems independently and communicate clearly with technical and domain experts.\n\nEven better if you have:\nData-intensive applications, media or document processing, or workflows involving human review.\n\nPractical experience building AI-enabled products and evaluating their behavior in use.\n\nEarly-stage product development, including making and revisiting scope decisions with a small team.\n\nA Note on Applying\nStudies show women and candidates from underrepresented groups often only apply when they meet 100% of the listed qualifications, while others apply after meeting 60%.
