Precise calibration, sound control, and careful debugging will connect Mecka's data to how robots behave on real hardware, so the team can tell a weakness in a learned policy apart from a problem in the system running it.\nWhat You'll Do\nIntegrate robotics hardware and software for data collection and repeatable experiments.\n\nDevelop calibration and diagnostic tools for coordinate frames, timing, and sensor quality.\n\nDeploy perception models and learned policies on robots, and investigate how they perform on real tasks.\n\nBuild recording, teleoperation, and evaluation workflows with our robot-learning researchers.\n\nMake systems more reliable through hardware debugging, software improvements, and clear recovery procedures.\n\nWhat You Bring\nMust-have:\n3+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, mechatronics, or a closely related engineering field.\n\nStrong Python and C++ skills, with practical experience developing on Linux.\n\nHands-on experience building, integrating, and debugging robotics or mechatronic systems.\n\nA solid understanding of kinematics, coordinate transforms, sensor calibration, and time synchronization.\n\nExperience with robot interfaces, control loops, and communication between software and physical hardware.\n\nAbility to integrate perception or machine-learning models into a running robotic system.\n\nA systematic approach to diagnosing failures across software, electronics, sensors, and mechanics.\n\nA Note on Applying\nStudies show women and candidates from underrepresented groups often only apply when they meet 100% of the listed qualifications, while others apply after meeting 60%.
