The Manager, Procurement will lead sourcing, vendor management, negotiations, purchase-order management, cost optimization, contract compliance, procurement governance, and stakeholder coordination. The Manager, Procurement will work closely with Finance, Operations, Business, Legal, and other functional teams to ensure procurement activities are aligned with business requirements, budgets, policies, and organizational objectives. The Manager, Procurement will also drive cost savings, supplier development, process improvements, procurement analytics, and risk mitigation while maintaining high standards of integrity, transparency, and compliance\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business needs, budgets, and organizational objectives\nLead sourcing activities for goods and services, including supplier identification, RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection\nManage and maintain a competitive supplier base through market research, benchmarking, supplier consolidation, and alternate sourcing strategies\nBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor performance against quality, delivery, service, pricing, and contractual requirements and address issues as needed\nLead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, and overall value while considering total cost of ownership\nDrive cost savings and procurement optimization through strategic sourcing, volume negotiations, standardization, contract renegotiation, and process improvements\nOversee the procure-to-pay process, ensuring accurate and timely purchasing, order management, delivery, documentation, and coordination with Finance and business stakeholders\nSupport supplier contract development, negotiation, execution, and renewal in partnership with business stakeholders; monitor key terms, obligations, and compliance\nEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval requirements, controls, and ethical standards, and support internal and external audits\nPartner with Finance, Operations, IT, HR, Legal, and other functions to understand requirements, provide procurement guidance, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for cost and process optimization\nSupport procurement budgeting and forecasting by monitoring spend, commitments, savings, and potential budget risks\nPrepare procurement reports and dashboards to monitor spend, savings, supplier performance, compliance, and other key performance indicators\nIdentify opportunities to streamline and automate procurement processes, improve turnaround times, standardize procedures, and enhance use of ERP and e-procurement systems\nLead and develop the procurement team by setting priorities and performance expectations, allocating work, and providing coaching, training, and support\nOther duties as assigned\nUse, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards\nUnderstand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times\nLimit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline required; MBA/PGDM in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred\nProfessional certification in procurement/supply chain such as CIPS, CSCP, CPSM, or equivalent a plus\n10+ years of relevant procurement experience, preferably with experience managing strategic sourcing and vendor relationships\n2+ years’ experience managing and mentoring direct reports\nStrong experience in procurement, sourcing, commercial negotiations, and supplier management\nExperience managing significant procurement spending in multiple areas\nExperience in ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nStrong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization\nStrong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses\nHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills required\n\nWorking Conditions\nMust possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications, for multifactor authentication and security purposes\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area;
