The person will work with key stakeholders to transform raw data into cohesive, valuable reports capturing meaningful business insights. The Power BI Analyst will also be responsible for comprehensive reports for clients, data mining and analysis, and providing support for the day-to-day operations.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nWork with our revenue cycle project leaders to understand our business processes and to develop reporting and analytics to monitor financial performance\nDesign and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders’ needs\nGather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis\nCollaborate with data teams and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes\nCreate complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis\nEnsure data security and compliance with best practices\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues in Power BI reports\nProvide training and support to end users using Power BI\nKeep up to date with the latest Power BI features and trends\nPrepare recurring daily/weekly/month reports and dashboards to address and support key business functions and initiatives \nMaintain a thorough working knowledge of client specific data, including payer mix, insurance and financial classes, patient access system details, data timing issues, and other issues of specific importance to each client\nSupport day-to-day operations with ad-hoc analyses\nCommunicate and collaborate with other team members and clients to develop solutions as needed\nAnalyze and solve problems quickly and thoroughly\nOther duties as assigned\nUse, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards\nUnderstand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times\nLimit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or relevant fields\nProficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation; Power BI certifications are a plus\n1-3 years of experience or equivalent in a revenue cycle analytics position in the healthcare industry\nStrong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts\nExperience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction\nKnowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations\nFamiliarity with data warehouse concepts\nA thorough understanding of best practices for efficiently working with large data sets\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nStrong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization\nStrong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses\nHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills required\n\nWorking Conditions\nWork Setup: Fully Remote\nWork Schedule: Night Shift M- F 9PM - 5AM \nMust possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications, for multifactor authentication and security purposes\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area;
