This role will focus on creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. The work will involve reviewing and analyzing system specifications, conducting testing, both manual and automated, before product launches to ensure the software runs smoothly and meets client needs.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nResponsible for testing complex and highly integrated software systems developed in a fast-paced agile development environment\nHelp plan and design Test Strategies and QA procedures\nEngage in robust requirements review or story refinement\nTest planning and execution of Test Plan by coordinate with all team members to ensure completion\nAdvocate for and ensure that the team performs the prescribed quality practices.\nWhere exceptions are made, articulate the quality risk and potential impact/mitigation to the team, product manager or owner, and program manager\nCoordinate with QA Lead to plan and execute feature-level integration testing\nAbility to work independently and as a team member by taking initiative and being pro-active.\nAnalyze, maintain, and track defects for testing\nValidate conformance to requirements and that acceptance criteria have been met\nWhere acceptance criteria are not provided, work with Product to derive criteria, if needed\nEnsure that stories have met Definition of Done\nSummarize testing and validation results and communicate with project team members regarding status\nEscalate issues or obstacles appropriately and timely\nProvide insightful input to retrospectives.\nPerforms other duties as requested\n\nQualifications\nSolid work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role for at least 5 years of experience\nStrong understanding of the QA process, and collaborating with Development team\nMust have basic knowledge of Katalon Automation, AWS, and SQL\nExperience in project management and QA methodology\nAbility to document and troubleshoot errors\nKnowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues; experience with best practices around database operations.\nStrong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts to peers, customers, and management\nMust be capable of routinely making effective and timely decisions in alignment with departmental direction and based on sound business knowledge and industry best practices.\nRequire ability to work independently with minimal supervision\nAbility to multi-task with several complex and demanding Projects\n\nWorking Conditions\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area;
