This role will focus on creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. The work will involve reviewing and analyzing system specifications, conducting testing, both manual and automated, before product launches to ensure the software runs smoothly and meets client needs.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nResponsible for testing complex and highly integrated software systems developed in a fast-paced agile development environment\nPlan and design Test Strategies and QA procedures\nEngage in robust requirements review or story refinement\nTest planning and execution of Test Plan by co-ordinate with all team members to ensure completion\nAdvocate for and ensure that the team performs the prescribed quality practices.\nWhere exceptions are made, articulate the quality risk and potential impact/mitigation to the team, product manager or owner, and program manager\nCoordinate with QA Lead to plan and execute feature-level integration testing\nAbility to work independently and as a team member by taking initiative and being proactive.\nAnalyze, maintain, and track defects for testing\nValidate conformance to requirements and that acceptance criteria have been met\nWhere acceptance criteria are not provided, work with Product to derive criteria, if needed\nEnsure that stories have met Definition of Done\nSummarize testing and validation results and communicate with project team members regarding status\nEscalate issues or obstacles appropriately and timely\nProvide insightful input to retrospectives, participate meaningfully in the meetings and reviews\nProvide status as per the teams established process\n Qualifications\nSolid work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role for at least 5 years of experience with the ability to work independently, manage assigned responsibilities and deliver results with minimal supervision\nStrong understanding of QA processes and methodologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with practical knowledge of database operations and industry best practices.\nAbility to provide clear, accurate, and timely end-of-day (EOD) status updates on testing activities, issues, risks, and overall progress.\nStrong documentation skills, with the ability to create clear, accurate, and comprehensive QA artifacts, including test plans, test cases, test results, defect reports, and related quality documentation.\nMust have working knowledge of Automation – with tools like Selenium, AWS, and SQL\nExperience in Test Management Tool like QMetry, etc.\nStrong working knowledge of Bug and Task Tracking tools like JIRA\nPerform data validation writing effective SQL queries\nSupport deployments to QA and higher environment.
