The Senior Database Engineer will be fix reported bugs and work towards improving application performance, as well as continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nAssist with the development, maintenance and optimization of several SQL Server databases that supports highly available enterprise software applications\nMaster of Dynamic SQL, Joins, query formatting, debugging SQL Procedures.\nPerform data profiling of source data to identify data quality issues and anomalies, business knowledge embedded in data, gathering of natural keys, and metadata information\nCommit quality code, reliably and on time to help the team achieve roadmap goals and customer commitment.\nCollaborate with the team to identify, prioritize, and execute on key data delivery milestones\nPrepare technical design document & data dictionary\nEvaluate code to ensure validity, HIPAA compliance, secure coding practices, and compatibility\nReport any security or HIPAA violations or concerns to the HIPAA Officers in a timely fashion\nOther duties as assigned \nUse, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards\nUnderstand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times \nLimit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience\nMinimum 10 years of Database and software development experience\nHealthcare domain experience preferred\nWorking experience with ETL process using SSIS preferred\nExperience with any public cloud platform for data storage and processing\nA strong Hands-on exp of T-SQL is essential. Should be able to write complex queries to retrieve, manipulate, and update data in relational databases.\nExpertise in writing complex SQL Queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and indexes\nAbility to ensure data quality by implementing data validation checks and data cleansing processes\nSkills in optimizing SQL queries, indexing, and database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing\nClear communication around technical concepts and ideas and the ability to collaborate with engineering and other parts of the organization\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team\nGood documentation practices to maintain records of database schemas, ETL processes, and data flows\nBe a self-starter and work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment\nProven ability to work calmly under tight deadlines or in critical situations\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite \nStrong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization \nStrong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses \nHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills required \nGracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction \nWorking Conditions\nWork set-up: Work From Home\nWork Schedule: US hours, night shift;
