The Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack will also be responsible for fixing bugs and enhancing application performance.\n\nRequired Hours: 9AM-5PM EST\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nImplement all aspects of application design, from initial concepts, spikes, coding, performance, security, scalability, code reviews, testing, and deployment.\nWrite TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS utilizing Angular and rxjs that powers our front-end client applications\nWrite more TypeScript utilizing Node.js which powers our serverless architecture, hosted on AWS utilizing Lambdas and Docker containers\nDesign and implement APIs utilizing serverless REST APIs and WebSocket services\nDesign databases utilizing DynamoDB, our application’s primary database\nManage our infrastructure through cdk and CloudFormation\nManage and improve continuous integration and delivery\nPerform functional testing for your work in a local development environment\nWrite unit tests and integration tests\nMonitor new features post deployment using monitoring tools like Sentry\nWork closely with the product management team to understand and build out requirements for new work\nWork closely with the software engineering team to collaborate on new features, resolve issues, and knowledge share\nOther duties as assigned\nUse, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards\nUnderstand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times\nLimit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties\n\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nAt least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack web application development\nMinimum of 2 years of experience with Angular, rxjs, and TypeScript\nProven track record of designing and implementing features on web applications as a full-stack engineer\nFamiliarity with working in a cloud-based environment, either directly with AWS, Serverless, Lambda, S3 or comparable technologies from Azure, Google Cloud, etc.\nSome database experience with DynamoDB or a comparable database experience\nFamiliarity with cloud computing security and scalability best practices\nAbility to work independently and with a team\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nStrong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization\nStrong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses\nHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills required\nGracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction\n\nWorking Conditions\nMust possess a smart-phone or electronic device capable of downloading applications, for multifactor authentication and security purposes. \nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area;
