We are looking to hire Instrumentation Technician Apprentices. If you're a motivated Instrumentation Apprentice or interested in developing your skills in a stable and supportive workplace, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial instrumentation and control systems.\nSupport journeyperson instrumentation technicians with daily tasks and project requirements.\nAssist with installing, wiring, terminating, and testing instrumentation devices, including transmitters, sensors, switches, and control valves.\nRead and interpret instrument drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and wiring schematics.\nAssist with instrument calibration, loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning activities.\nHelp install and maintain instrument tubing, fittings, cable tray, and instrument cabling.\nFollow all company safety procedures, site-specific requirements, and applicable industry standards.\nParticipate in hazard assessments, toolbox meetings, and safety orientations.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including proper care of tools and equipment.\nAssist with identifying equipment issues and reporting deficiencies to the supervising technician.\nComplete assigned documentation, maintenance records, and quality control checklists accurately.\nWork collaboratively with electricians, instrumentation technicians, supervisors, and other trades.\nTake direction from experienced technicians and actively develop technical skills through hands-on training.\nEnsure all work is completed under appropriate supervision and within the apprentice’s level of training and authorization.\nTravel to industrial and oil and gas sites as required and adapt to changing project schedules and work environments.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nValid driver's licence required.\nMust be eligible to work in Canada.\nFlexible to work shift work, overtime, and weekends.\n1+ year of experience as an instrumentation technician is an asset.\nExperience with instrumentation systems and tasks including transmitters, measurement devices, tubing installation, calibration, and troubleshooting is an asset.\nIndustrial oil and gas industry experience is an asset.\nValid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, CSO, Fall Arrest, and Aerial Work Platform certifications are an
