The successful candidate will complete all of their training onsite at our Oakville site as well.\nMedcan is recruiting for an AHA Flow Coordinator/Receptionist hybrid role. The position requires high energy and enthusiasm, an appreciation for detail, an outstanding level of client service and exceptional organizational skills.\nThe role is responsible for monitoring and facilitating the flow of patients through our Year-Round Case clinic and checking clients in for their Annual Health Assessment as well as coordinating with other clinic staff to ensure an exceptional delivery of service. The role is also responsible for monitoring and facilitating the flow of clients through the clinic during their Annual Health Assessment.\nThe ideal candidate is a client-focused professional with excellent communication skills, a great attitude, and some flexibility in their schedule.\nWhat You'll Do:\nReception & Client Experience: client greeting and support, check-in/check-out, payments, appointment support, managing client inquiries and expectations, and communicating delays or changes\nClinic Flow & Coordination: actively managing client flow, monitoring wait times and provider availability, coordinating across clinical teams, and adapting to delays, add-ons, accommodations, and other real-time changes\nOperational & Cross-Functional Support: providing cross-coverage across Reception, AHA Flow, YRC/Refine and other clinic needs, along with opening/closing, next-day preparation, and general administrative and operational support\nWhat You'll Need:\nPrior experience in similar role.\n2 years of experience in healthcare industry, reception/front-desk, customer service, hospitality, or medical administration is an asset.\nEducation in health or a related discipline is an asset.\nFour Star Hotel experience or a luxury spa is an asset.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nIntermediate level skills in MS Office.\nExceptional customer service skills.\nAbility to multi-task.\nAbility to work well in a team environment.\nAbility to foster relationships with other teams and practitioners.\nLiaison with all clinic departments\nAbility to reliably travel to the clinic during business hours.\nThis is a part-time position currently scheduled for 8.5 hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday during clinic hours (6am - 6pm).\nPosition Pay Range\n$23.00 - $31.62 CAD per hourPay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade.
