If so, Medcan is the place for you!\nThis job is for a current vacancy.\nThe Opportunity:\nThe Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a licensed Physiotherapist to join our high-performing and fast-growing team of practitioners within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service.\nThis is an Independent Contractor position seeking a 2-3 half day commitment with the possibility to build to full days as volume grows. The specific schedule/hours will be mutually determined and has some flexibility.\nWe are currently hiring for the following clinic location:\nMarkham (600 Cochrane Drive)\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nProvide evidence-based musculoskeletal conservative care.\n\nDemonstrate exceptional clinical care practices and professionalism\n\nIntegrate Chiropractic services into an existing collaborative practice environment.\n\nWork alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, massage therapists, fitness professionals and other physiotherapists.\n\nEmphasize inter-professional collaborations through effective communication and coordinated treatment plans.\n\nWhat You’ll Need:\nPhysiotherapy degree\n\nCurrent registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario\n\nSignificant experience in dealing with varied orthopedic and sports injuries is an asset\n\nMinimum two years’ experience\n\nAdditional physiotherapy related qualifications are an asset\n\nSuperior organization and time management skills\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nPosition Pay Range\n$70 - $150/hrMedcan's Allied Health professionals are independent contractors. Remuneration for this role will be dependent on number of days worked, patient volume and level of candidate's experience and qualification.
