Please note this is a 18-month contract.\nThe Role:\nMedcan is currently recruiting for a Referrals Service Coordinator for the Client Care Centre team in a full-time 18-month contract position. The ideal candidate possesses excellent written and verbal communication and has an appreciation for attention to detail. Exceptional administrative back-office support to physicians and Client Care Centre team colleagues. The role is well suited to candidates who have demonstrated the ability to thrive in a changing environment and have experience working with multi-disciplinary teams. This role allows for the possibility of work on weekends if the need should arise.\nWhat You'll Do:\nPulling, ordering and managing charts\nManaging daily incoming faxes\nScan, categorize and upload transferred records from other facilities\nSort and distribute incoming mail\nManage and task all miscellaneous requests from external facilities through incoming faxes to appropriate team members\nManage and task all appointment notifications to appropriate team\nAttend and task release of record requests\nAdditional administrative duties as required\nWhat You'll Need:\nMinimum 1 years Medical Office experience\nHealth Records Diploma and/or Medical Office Administration diploma preferred\nExcellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills\nProficient in MS word, Excel and Outlook\nKnowledge of medical terminology\nThe position will be hybrid of onsite and remote work requirement\nThis is a full time contract position that is from Monday to Friday weekly 8:30am-5:00pm with potential occasional Saturdays.\nOur downtown Toronto clinic is conveniently located at 150 York St., which is nearby St. Andrew station or a 10-minute walk from Union Station!\nPosition Pay Range\n$36,374.00 - $50,014.25 CAD annuallyPay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade.
