As a Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.\nResponsibilities\nPerformed examinations on patients’ legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions.\nProvide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses.\nRecommend and prescribe medication for relieving joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort.\nOffer guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices.\nRequest additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.\nRequirements\nDoctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree\nDEA License\nLong-term care experience\nProlonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Bending/stooping.
