As psychiatric nurse practitioners, you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship. If you enjoy working on a team with bright, ambitious, advanced practice nurses and are seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Flexible work hours are available. \nResponsibilities\nWork closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.\nProactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.\nProvide education on best practices.\nRound at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations. \nIntegrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible. \nRequirements\nMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN)\nActive Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License \nANNC Board Certification \nAbility to travel in New York\nExcellent communication and documentation abilities\nStrong patient assessment skills\nStrong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic\nProlonged sitting. Computer work including keyboard and mouse use for extended periods.
