The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with business clients.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nReview and manage the accounts receivable aging report, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances. \nContact customers regarding overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence to ensure prompt payment. \nResolve customer payment discrepancies and disputes, working closely with the order desk, project and sales teams. \nProcess and apply payments to customer accounts timely and accurately. \nPrepare and distribute customer statements and invoices. \nAnalyze customer accounts and provide detailed reports of outstanding balances, trends, and payment history. \nCollaborate with other departments to address issues affecting collections or customer accounts. \nWork with the A/R Supervisor to develop strategies for improving collections and reducing delinquency. \n Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of communications and actions taken with customers. \nAssist with month-end closing processes and provide necessary documentation for financial reporting. \nProvide support for audit requests as needed. \nCrosstrain for accounts payable including invoice entry, vendor response, and payment processing.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nCoursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred).\n3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a focus on B2B collections.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. \nFluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.\nProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).\nExperience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).\nStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \nDetail-oriented with the ability to analyze data and resolve issues effectively.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nAbility to maintain integrity and productivity in a remote role.\nAdaptable and flexible, with the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment, shifting priorities, and a high degree of change.\n\nLocations\nIndia -
